- Paprika
- Garlic Powder
- Onion Powder

Honey garlic is a flavor combo that never disappoints and when paired with perfectly fried chicken tenders, it is truly a tasty treat! To make this sauce recipe, you will need:
- Honey
- Unsalted Butter
- Low Sodium Soy or Tamari Sauce
- Fresh Garlic Cloves

Preparation and Assembly
- Marinate – Combine the tenders, buttermilk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings in a large bowl. Marinade tenders for 1-2 hours in the fridge or overnight.
- Dredge – in a large bowl whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking powder and seasoning. Double coat the tenders by first dredging in the flour mixture, then dip back into the wet batter and lastly back into the flour mixture. Transfer the tenders to a baking sheet and rest for 10 minutes before frying.
- Fry – Heat up oil to 350F. In batches, fry the tenders in batches for 3 to 4 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through. Transfer cooked tenders to a wire rack over a baking sheet to catch excess oil.
- Make Sauce – in a small saucepan under medium heat, add the sauce ingredients and stir until butter is fully melted. Bring sauce to a low boil and cook for 4-5 minutes. Remove from heat and cool sauce until it is no longer hot to touch.
- Coat – transfer tenders to a large bowl, pour over sauce and gently shake to coat tenders in sauce.
- Serve – sprinkle sauce coated tenders with sesame seeds and scallion slices before serving

Chicken Tenders and Honey Garlic Sauce
- In a large bowl, add and mix together all of the chicken marinade ingredients. Make sure the tenders are fully covered in the buttermilk mixture. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours or overnight.
- In separate large bowl, whisk together all of the dredging mixture ingredients.
- One at a time, remove tenders from marinade and place into dredging mixture. Thoroughly coat. Dip the coated tender into the marinade batter and then back into the dredging mixture, gently pressing the flour onto the chicken to for a thick, even coating.
- Transfer coated chicken to a parchment lined sheet pan and let rest for 10-15 minutes before frying.
- As the chicken rest, make the honey garlic sauce. In a small saucepan under medium heat, add the sauce ingredients and stir until butter is fully melted. Bring sauce to a low boil and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and set aside until ready to use.
- Add oil into a large skillet and heat up to 350F. In batches, fry tenders for 3 to 4 minutes per side. (For best results, use a kitchen thermometer to make sure that the oil temperature is maintained at 350F.)
- Transfer cooked tenders to a paper towel lined baking sheet or wire rack placed over a baking sheet to catch any excess oil.
Serving
- Place tenders in a large bowl and pour over 2/3 of the honey garlic sauce.
- Gently shake bowl to coat tenders in the sauce. If all the tenders are not evenly coated, drizzle over remaining sauce and gently shake to coat. Alternatively, you can individually coat tenders in the sauce.
- Top sauce coated tenders with a sprinkling of sesame seeds and sliced scallions, optional.
- Serve tenders immediately with favorite sauce for dipping and enjoy!
